I tried Auromere's Licorice flavored toothpaste ($6) and mouthwash ($6) from their Dental Care line. Each paste inclues PEELU and NEEM which naturally whitens teeth and freshens breath. While I found that both the mouthwash and toothpastes did clean and freshen well, I much preferred the mint versions.

The ayurvedic experts at Auromere (they make great neem soap, too) have created a few different natural toothpastes with groovy (and effective) natural ingredients such as cardamon, fennel, fine chalk and other plants and flowers. Gluten-free and great for really sensitive teeth (or during pregnancy). (Posted on 9/21/10)
